The interdisciplinary research network EGON investigated the development of organically bred fruit varieties in community-based initiatives. This breeding approach is characterized by the use of the genetic diversity of old and special fruit varieties in breeding and the practical-participative implementation in a community of farmers and breeders. In EGON, this breeding approach was evaluated ecologically, economically and socially.

As a non-profit company, Hilfswerft pursues the goal of promoting social entrepreneurship in an impact-oriented manner throughout Germany to contribute to a sustainable society. My job was the content-related conceptualization of the educational poster "Die Nachhaltigen 222" (Sustainable 222) which presents information, tips and initiatives as well as sustainable German brands/companies for all categories of everyday's life.

The Engineering Office for Ecology and Agriculture (Ingenieurbüro für Ökologie und Landwirtschaft GmbH (IfÖL)) in Kassel is active at the interfaces of soil and water protection as well as agriculture and forestry. As a service and consulting office, the company prepares utilization analyses as well as measure and consulting concepts for environmentally friendly and sustainable land use.
