Senior Statistical Programmer for Phase II/III projects.

Federal employee in the Behavioral and Clinical Surveillance Branch of the Division of HIV / AIDS Prevention. Utilized SAS extensively to produce weighted estimates using SAS PROCs for probability samples. Wrote code for arrays, macros, multiple imputation, merging multiple datasets from various sources, variable type conversions, formatting, and much more.

Contractor for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. Produced weighted H1N1 and seasonal vaccination rate estimates from national U.S. surveys during the 2009 H1N1 pandemic. Also contracted for the Global Adult Tobacco Survey project and produced national tobacco prevalence rates among adults from various countries. Utilized SAS complex samples PROCs as well as SUDAAN to analyze weighted survey data.

Taught Research Methods, Statistics I, and introductory and advanced SAS programming classes to graduate students. SAS topics included data management, ODS, macros, merging large datasets, IML, character data, data generation, PROCs for statistical analyses and many other topics. Most research and published papers done by utilizing SAS for simulations or for applied analyses.

Conducted research involving the effects of missing data at the item level on test scales under various conditions using simulation techniques. Data were simulated using SAS Macros.

Involved with all the aspects of test development for a small test publishing company including leading workshops, data collection, sampling, performing data analyses, and conducting reliability and validity analyses. All data cleaning and analyses were done using SAS.
