Responsible for analyzing business requirements and preparing solution design/Technical designs for the development. Responsible for coordinaing with other interfaces during design, development, testing and implementation phases. Handled production support team and provided faster and feasible solutions for complex production issues.

Responsible for providing accurate & timely estimations for maintenance & enhancement activities. Analyzed and developed the programs using Cobol, Cics, VSAM, JCL for new requirements. Perform end to end testing on various complex CICS socket and background programs for the transactions coming form web portals. Coordinate with other subsystems during development and system integration testing. Involved in production support and provided solutions to the complex and high severity productions issues.

Analyze business requirements and break them in to system/component level, translating into high level designs and establish specific problem solutions.Involved in customization of various components for IBM mainframe environment as part of take over. Provide Cycle support and resolve the defects raised during system test, UAT and Production support. Handled quality processes like peer reviews. Participated in the Functional and Technical training provided to the new team members.

Developed the code based on technical designs, Prepared unit test plan, performed Unit testing for the new requirements by analyzing the solution and technical design documents. Performed peer reviews and helped fellow team members in understanding the new business requirements. Involved in resolving the defects raised during System Testing, SIT, UAT, PVT and post production defects. Involved in 24*7 Production Support.
