Thesis title: Design and simulation of new packing technology for Biomass boilers. • Designed a new packing column for exhaust gas treatment. • Investigated the residence time of gases inside the cyclone combustion chamber and packing column. • Investigated packing column with the help of simulation to decide its application between water heating boilers and room heating systems. • Compared conventional boiler with the model developed at Fraunhofer IBP.

Assisted various projects in Mechanical design and simulation in order to analyze customer requirements and designed customer specific machines in CAD and CFD. • Designed cyclone combustion chamber and cyclone separator for separation of dust contaminants in gases. • Performed flow simulations. • Analyzed the flow behaviour and optimized the design. • Validated simulation results with experimental work.
