    Since the start of the acquisition of Kopernikus Automotive by Ford (which began late 2024), I joined the team which develops the system that analyses camera input for vehicle identification sequences by way of “blinking codes”. To help address the challenges faced by the team, I created a more formalized build and test workflow and have been consolidating a disjointed set of analysis tools into a single coherent toolset to help the team members focusing on algorithmic improvements to the system.

    • The development of the “middleware” firmware (Aurix TC377TX, tricore-elf-gcc 11.3) • Deciding on the application architecture for our autonomous drive system (NVIDIA Driveworks) • The design and maintenance of our build (CMake, ccache, ninja, Conan, crosstool-ng) • Setting up CI processes (CircleCI, googletest, gcov, clang-tidy, clang-format, Sonar) • Developing various tools and data converters (Driveworks, foxglove MCAP, python)

Additionally I contributed several bug-fixes related to the interactions between async operations triggered by session loading and the hybrid audio engine (Carbon).
