Chris Grummett

I am currently working for Media Consulta here in Berlin, where I manage pan-European integrated communication campaigns on behalf of a number of European Commission institutions. Such campaigns have allowed me to continue to develop my skills across a whole range of PR and integrated communication measures (including online tools). This includes the conceptualisation, planning and implementation of awareness raising activities throughout the EU27.

• Formulation and management of communications and CSR strategies for National Grid, Partnership for Renewables and the London Development Agency, including stakeholder management and crisis communications on national infrastructure projects • Engagement with and managing expectations of stakeholders on multi-million pound development projects, including MPs, councils, media and other residents’ representatives • Management of relationships with a variety of clients

• Engagement with and managing expectations of stakeholders on the considerable number of community, regeneration and entrepreneurial support projects (including London 2012) that the LDA funds, including councils, business representatives and the general public • Assistance in the organisation of public consultation events.

• Planning and co-ordination of the General and County Election campaigns in the South Norfolk constituency, acting as a first point-of-contact for the prospective Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate • Management of publicity events for visiting high-profile MPs to the constituency • Implementation of pro-active media relations activities • Drafted copy for literature and press releases • Management and coordination of volunteer network • Liaison with regional organisers to coordinate election
