I am building a time machine. The Retroscope is a website and iPhone app which can show any place at any time in the past. It uses the world's many millions of historic photos, engravings, paintings, films and recordings as fragments of time, and assembles those fragments into a 3D model of what has gone before. I am extremely fortunate that Rob Dickens CBE and Ed Vaizey MP are executive advisors to The Retroscope.

My role was to use my knowledge of the educational, creative and political environments in which it operates in order to position the college to its highest advantage. I I initiated and developed personal and political relationships with MPs David Cameron, Andy Burnham, David Willetts, Jeremy Hunt and Ed Vaizey, leading to a sequence of MP visits to ACM, ongoing policy consultancy to Sir Robert Balchin, and a Secretary-of-State reception for ACM and the BPI at the Houses of Parliament.

I oversaw the South East of England, and designed and project manage the Sector Skills Agreement for the South East, which acts as a contract between the region's creative and cultural industries, and the region's education providers. I worked through strategic partnership management with the Arts Council England - South East, the Learning and Skills Council, and MLA South East (the Museum, Library and Archive Council).

At MLA South East I wrote and put into practice a strategy for the regions 20,000 strong museum, library and archive workforce. I also designed and ran a programme of "Creativity Grants" to encourage people working in museums, libraries and archives to try out new ideas and to show their how creative they could be. One of the projects we funded won a national "Roots and Wings" heritage education award.

I carried out a short term contract for Zurich, setting up and managing the Zurich Uk / Ireland / South Africa intranet, including analysing staff training and development needs, and project managing its implementation.

I designed, delivered and evaluated a range of training and change management initiatives for the City and also for the Metropolitan and Thames Valley Police Forces, at all levels of officer and civilian staff seniority.
