Christian Friedrich Müller

Currently, I am working as a System Architect for Automotive at Lattice Semiconductor. I am part of the Automotive Segment team. In my role, I will engage with our sales team and lead customers to drive strategies for Automotive applications, including Automotive solution requirements for various stacks. Furthermore, I will also help drive future silicon requirements, identify key ecosystem partnerships, and contribute to both inbound and outbound technical marketing and campaigns.

Since October 2016 I am working as a Field Applications Engineer at Intel Programmable Solutions Group (formally Altera). I am part of the Automotive EMEA team working closely with European OEMs and suppliers.

Currently, I am part of the European New College Graduate Program of Altera (now Part of Intel) supporting customers in various steps of their FPGA-based system development in fields like: • Altera Quartus Prime Software development flow • FPGA design technics & timing enclosure • FPGA configurations modes • Creating of small design examples In March/April 2016 I was send to Munich covering for a colleague as part of my sales rotation directly supporting main European industrial customers.

Development of a software supporting and improving the workflow of the test engineers:  C-based software to communicate with a measurement system.  Including the measurement data in Excel using VBA Macros.  Statistical analysis in Excel.

Development of solution retrieving the local weather and climate information using the universities weather station. Role involves:  Retrieving the measured data from the weather station.  Sending the current weather data to a web server using rsync.  PHP and JAVA Script for presenting the data on the universities website.

I worked as an Intern at ST Ericsson developing a measurement system for evaluating a real-time clock signal of mobile devices. I worked on creating, designing and testing a FPGA-based solution allowing an evaluation using MS Excel.

I was working as an Intern for the AVT Ilmenau GmbH supporting the development of a FPGA-based system. I was responsible for testing a FPGA controlled display. Therefore, I had to adapt model-based code and advance it for self designed test cases.

My basic training of my military service took place in Gerolstein, Germany and I was later transferred to Potsdam to the 3./Stabs- und Fernmeldebataillon Einsatzführungskommando der Bundeswehr. I was working as a Guard and Security Soldier.

I was an Intern for three weeks at the Siemens AG in Berlin. I was introduced to the function of a global operating company. Furthermore, I got to know different buisness process. I was visiting negotiation about communication systems and support technician at the de- and assembling of communication systems.

With the support of the ERASMUS scholarship I was able to spend a semester studying at the University of Nottingham, UK and attended courses advancing my skills as a Computer Engineer.
