Functional Safety, Automotive SPICE, Cybersecurity, Process Development and Improvement, Quality Assurance

Ensure product quality during R&D of new product lines. Focus on electronics development (HW/SW, capacitive, microwave and camera systems). Support feasibility studies and first-time application of new products. Support supplier quality in case of suppliers for SW, HW or strategic components (ASIC, SoC, µC, analog components, ...). Support change requests. Monitoring fulfillness of internal and customer quality requirements. Monitoring quality of work products and development process performance.

Ensure the fulfillment of automotive SPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and APQP activities in the Advanced Quality Engineering group over the entire product life cycle in customer projects. Improve skills of the global AQE team. Guide, train, develop and lead the advanced quality engineers worldwide in relevant SPICE, APQP and Functional Safety skills. Perform process audits and SPICE assessments. Process improvement activities, with a focus on software, hardware and quality activities.

Plan and coordinate all group activities for embedded SW and related computer SW (currently 5 people). Fields: 3D (Time of Flight) sensor SW for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and in-vehicle gesture control. Additional task: support the Quality Assurance team as internal SPICE assessor/auditor (Support internal/external assessment, and monitor software quality assurance activities (SUP.1) by regular internal assessments of single engineering and management processe

Plan and coordinate all group activities for embedded SW and related computer SW (currently 5 people); coordination with SW sub suppliers and company own SW group in China; report and coordinate activities to department manager and system engineer; SW process improvement; embedded SW development; coordination of test activities with other groups (China test group and system test group); support of sales and marketing; Field: 3D vision sensor SW development
