Project-wise I am responsible for the test levels unit testing, integration testing, software qualification testing up to testing integration of software and embedded system. I am also responsible for test management and act as functional safety engineer in projects. Department-wise I work on the improvement of software engineering and test processes, as well as providing testing expertise. Additionally I carry out internal Automotive SPICE assessments and support external assessments.

Requirementsanalysis, softwaredesign and developement, testing, as well as, documentation of new softwarefunctionality for door control units (integrated Webserver, Ethernet/IP interface). Clarification of technical details, as well as, acceptance testing onsite at the customer. Development of a automated unit-test-framework and PC-based software for failure analysis and maintenance. Cooperation in the certification process for safety relevant software in the railway industry according to EN50128.

Development of a camera based quality control system for grinded edges of glass panes.

Development of client-server systems based on Java Enterprise technology. Development of Browser-based GUI components for TV-based information- and comfort-services. Development of communication subsystems as interface to the internal HW-modules, as well as, external serviceproviders (in C/C++/Java/Javascript). Construction of HW-prototypes (Linux-based embedded systems). Communication with customers and technological suppliers for product lifecycle enhancement.
