Berufserfahrung von Christian Maksymenko

  • Bis heute 4 Jahre und 10 Monate, seit Dez. 2021

    Principal Solution Architect

    DKV Mobility

Two mandates: technical direction for EV Services (3 sub-teams, 17 engineers across Germany, Romania and Ukraine; 25 microservices, 9 frontends) and, from 2025, the DKV Cockpit Replatforming - one of seven on its tech core team (200 people, 15+ teams), co-authoring the Executive Board-approved discovery, shaping the micro-frontend architecture and writing the migration blueprint. Live 1 September 2026: hard cutover, under 2 minutes down, 10k+ customers migrated in cohort waves.

  • 1 Jahr und 3 Monate, Okt. 2020 - Dez. 2021

    Senior Solution Architect

    DKV Mobility

Delivered E-Mobility services into DKV Cockpit, the B2B fleet portal - working beyond my own vertical, since architecture sat within each one back then. Designed the micro-frontend architecture that broke up the Cockpit monolith limiting team autonomy: route separation, independent releases, shared evergreen navigation as a web component. Secured CIO backing; adopted department-wide, it carried Cockpit for 5+ years until 2026's replatforming. Also drove the OpenStack-to-Azure-Kubernetes migration.

  • 5 Jahre und 1 Monat, Sep. 2016 - Sep. 2021

    Founder & Game Developer

    entCreate!

Ran an independent game studio alongside my studies and later IDEMIA: simulations, plugins and full games, including 3 heart-rate-driven therapeutic games for the HeartLive Foundation to help restore nervous-system balance.

  • 11 Monate, Nov. 2019 - Sep. 2020

    Technical & Agile Lead

    IDEMIA

Promoted to lead the Augmented Vision Backend team from planning to delivery across Germany, France and the US, and point of contact for a partner team in India. Shaped the product roadmap with the Product Owner, three Product Managers and the Managing Director, reprioritising as the market moved - including COVID-driven demand for distancing alerts and masked-face recognition. Defined CI/CD for the backend, and advised other IDEMIA units across on-prem, hybrid, cloud-native and edge stacks.

  • 3 Jahre und 6 Monate, Mai 2016 - Okt. 2019

    Senior Software Engineer

    IDEMIA

Engineered Augmented Vision, a real-time and post-event analytics platform for law enforcement, intelligence and commercial customers - co-inventor on two granted patents. Delivered Argus into production at two Middle East airports. Took the platform from bare metal to Kubernetes on GPUs, built the AWS PoC behind IDEMIA's first cloud deployment, and automated Azure deployment with Terraform. From 2018: Technical Lead and Scrum Master for the Cloud team, while formally still a Senior Software Engineer.

  • 3 Jahre, Mai 2013 - Apr. 2016

    Software Engineer

    IDEMIA

Built Argus, the facial recognition system that became Augmented Vision's real-time core, from first version to production. Designed the central messaging service everything else depended on, and integrated the biometric matching engine, watchlist and identity management. Built the supporting tooling: enrolment, backend testing, performance benchmarking. Supported pilots with IDEMIA's North America division; built a real-time luggage-theft surveillance process, trialled at a major US airport.

  • 4 Jahre und 6 Monate, Okt. 2008 - März 2013

    Teaching Assistant

    Ruhr University Bochum

Taught Software Engineering, Web Engineering and Concurrent Programming at the Chair of Software Engineering (Prof. Helmut Balzert). Graded weekly assignments and exams, and authored exercise material.

  • 1 Jahr und 1 Monat, Sep. 2006 - Sep. 2007

    Game Developer

    Wetain GbR

Co-developed "STROMBERG: Büro ist Krieg!", a commercial PC game based on the German adaptation of The Office: gameplay modules, 3D graphics and 6 mini-games. Winner of the German Developer Award 2007. Also built a ragdoll physics simulation for a WWII game prototype.
