With being employed full-time for the first time at IfTA GmbH- Ingenierbüro für Thermoakustik (Engineering Office for Thermo-acoustics), I'm now dealing with any kind of development of electronics that are necessary within a small company. So beginning with the concept and pre-development over actual implementations of analog and digital circuits, coding in VHDL and C, production, automatic testing (Python) and certification (Ex, CE, FCC, SIL).

This time limited job is directly related to my master thesis called: "Evaluation of envelope tracking power amplification for LTE base-stations" The target was to find out, wheather or not envelope tracking that is a common technique for handsets is also suitable for LTE small cells like they are produced at ip.access. This covers obviously RF and analogue issues but also system level challenges as well as building a test-bed for evaluation.

As the company is very small and development takes some time, I was having my own projects which I am able to handle from the very beginning to first roll-out. So I'm dealing with every aspect of electrical hardware design, like helping in deploying a concept for a given problem, case-studies, schematic drawing and PCB Layout, purchase, prototyping, automated testing and series-production, for both, digital and analog electronics. The field of work also includes DSP and FPGA programming.
