Had responsibility for various experiments, such as: • PCR, sequencing reactions and RACE cDNA amplification • in situ hybridization on sections and whole mount sponge tissue (including cloning and transformation for probe design) • immunohistological analysis (cryosectioning, microsectioning) General maintenance of the laboratory

Worked on following projects: • protein analysis using immunohistochemistry and SDS-PAGE/ Western blot • cell cultures for studying of MIF (macrophage inhibitory factor) with use of ELISA • electrophysiological analysis of the Langendorff-perfused mouse heart
