Successfully reworked hiring & onboarding processes to enable better screening of candidates, attraction of better candidates and more closely monitored onboarding. Improved development quality & communication between development center and head office. Took over some operational management tasks, e.g. overhauling work processes and preparing an office move.

Regional Technology Manager for the Security and Investigations department at Citibank. This covers responsibility for technology projects within the department, such as reporting, technology & process standardization and regionalization projects. It also includes regional support and management for global applications. Further acting as Regional BISO, and placed 7th in a global company-wide innovation challenge.

Combined pre-sales and post-sales activity. Helped bring in several customer projects. Brought in and managed customer software projects from scoping to completion (ASP.NET and other web technologies). Completion of an SME software suite.

Organized several telco conferences with C-level speakers from major mobile operators. Organized bunker courses with the "guru" for bunkering. Worked closely with marketing, sales and sponsorship; included copywriting and budget responsibility.

Research into parallel hybrid optimization algorithms; one published paper, continued development of algorithm framework.

Research into parallel hybrid optimization algorithms (memetic algorithms), using Python, C, matlab, PERL, bash. Includes distributed and multi-threaded programming. Four publications as result of the research (Fraunhofer + NTU), including one book (German) and one edited book article (English).
