Setting up, organising and leading a project team of 5 employees (architects, data engineers, data scientists) with agile methods: Design and implementation of a DWH platform (reporting and analytics) to assess the power supply situation. System specification / Design of solution architecture and data governance / Sourcing data via API's and data bases (ETL, ELT) / Development of ML models (e.g. load and production forecasts) / Setting up a reporting environment with Tableau / Operation of the platform.

Responsible for the definition and modelling of the business processes in the event of a long-term power shortage (OSTRAL).

(One Year contract) Leading and carrying out research projects in the domain of power systems: techno-economic analysis of power-to-fuel pathways and HVDC grids, statistical load and congestion analysis of a distribution network in Germany with high penetration of renewables (solar, wind), probabilistic reliability calculations of power networks

Contributions to the design, development and implementation of quantitative risk models and measures into the risk system of Axpo trading. Specification and development of an online reporting platform. Stochastic and statistical electricity price modeling. Leading the corporate risk assessment of the trading and sales division of Axpo.

In a small team contributing to the actuarial tasks of a reinsurance company: carrying out major parts of Trans Re's model for the Swiss Solvency Test, pricing reinsurance contracts, carrying out natural catastrophy modeling, preparing closing and budget figures.

Planning and coordination of scientific projects in the basic research of Theoretical Particle Physics, independently and in teamwork.
