During summer practice I implemented TCP IP stack on HCS12 microcontroller. This stack had to be used in conjunction with other student's work in order to implement CAN to Ethernet gateway used internally for development purposes. Taking into consideration the fact that I was and still am much more interested in hardware than in software, during that period of time, I tried to learn as much as I could about hardware development and help employees with hardware testing.
