* Conducted desk research for the research program titled "BlindNav" about navigation of visually impaired people in the ATEI campus using GPS and RFID technologies funded by the research committee of the ATEI of Thessaloniki.

* Acted as primary researcher in the "SeEBrowser" research program funded by the Greek Ministry of Education. The program was about technologies and tools for improving web accessibility of visually impaired users, giving particular focus on educational systems based on the web. * Developed 3 variations of an assistive voice interface (Browsing Shortcuts) to assist blind user navigation and reading in web pages. * Planned and conducted 4 user tests employing combinations of techniques such as Questionnaires
