In the department of life and environmental physics at IFIN HH, in the group Biophysics and radiobiology, I have gained basic knowledge in the field of genetics and biophysics. Using a Wheatstone bridge we set up the preliminary start up point for measuring temperature difference in cells medium,before and after irradiation, using silicone coated thermistors.

I have acquired, through their learning program, basic knowledge about nuclear reactors, the physics behind it, detectors, mechanism of detection being enrolled in the department of Radioprotection, working with systems engineers at Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant. Achieved the qualification "orange" for 1st zone. Done an example of gamma spectroscopy using GEANIE 2000. Radioprotection laws by CNCAN legislation. Attended at lectures held by specialized personnel.

For a short period of time I had the chance to see how a researcher works, learn basic knowledge in advance in the field of nuclear physics, guided by the Environmental Physics Group in the department of Life and Environmental Physics, and getting acquainted with 'N-Watchdog'
