Over-seeing the day to day operation of the F&B department and Rooms Division; managing the Profit and Loss statement of the hotel; ensuring budgetary requirements are achieved; dealing with all human resource requirements; developing hotels commercial profile by engaging in sales and marketing activities; mentoring and developing all relevant Heads of Departments

Responsibilities: Implementation of all F/O procedure in department; responsible for a team of fifteen including reception, nights and concierge; preparing rosters and completing timesheets; monitoring and reviewing employee performance; recruiting and selection of whole team; hotel accounts managed in accordance with hotel standards; attending financial meetings regarding rate strategy; attending weekly revenue meetings, setting of rate with revenue manager.

My responsibilities included: Start up of the Front Office Department; implementation of all F/O procedures; responsible for team of fifteen including reservations, valets and concierge; involvement in all facets of a pre-opening pertaining to F/O operations, including assisting in installation of Opera Property Management System.
