Seaway Offshore Cables are in the offshore cable installation business worldwide. Primarily offshore wind farms but also the oil and gas markets. They have a number of cable installation vessels that need to be kept busy. I was involved in all ongoing tenders and was responsible for producing technical documentation... alot of Method Statements. This role also served as a type of link, or contact, between external Client / Developers and the internal Project and Operations teams.

Project Engineer in the onshore wind industry working in northwest Germany. My main role was calculating energy yield and wind resource assessments concerning our active projects. This also included data analysis of existing turbine production. Other tasks included technical due diligence relating to wind conditions, ground conditions, turbine suitability, road planning, mapping and undertaking site visits. Every day I worked with WindPRO, AutoCAD Map 3D and Microsoft Office programs.

Graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering from G.M.I.T. in Galway, Ireland.

Reforestation is just a fancy word for treeplanting. A season typically ran from May-July/August out in British Columbia, Canada. It consisted of piecework where I was paid per tree planted and so it required alot of initiative, discipline and hard graft. Work was sub-contracted and so I have worked with many strange and interesting bushmen and women during this time. I am now a veteran of 7 full seasons.

Involved extensive practical field work hiking over forested and rough terrain. Duties included: Timber Harvest Operations Reforestation Operations Forestry Management Operations
