Commissioning, automation (yield and throughput improvement).Horizontal wet-chemical processes, horizontal and tube furnaces, PECVD, screen-printing, inkjet, APCVD; Led teams of 3 to 8 engineers (local and European). Responsible for the process start-up of a novel production line for monocrystalline silicon solar cells. This line involved a prototype etching tool for in-line alkaline texture and a PECVD SiOx/SiNx rear-side process. Led a team of 5 engineers.

Contributed to improvements on PECVD equipment. Equipment commissioning Germany and South-Korea. Project Leader Thermal Processes. Built a prototype tool for liquid-phase phosphorus deposition.

Experimental research relevant for magnetic random-access memory. Main Paper: Intrinsic Thermal Robustness of Tunneling Spin Polarization in Al/AlOx/Co Junctions. Applied Physics Letters 84, 1141 (2004).
