Experimented functional Safety Engineer for transport projects

During the time spent at Kiepe Electric, the following were performed on the related projects: Functional Safety and System Engineering:  Comparison of Functions allocation between System Design model and FMEA function allocation on EPS system.  Modification of the functions allocated to the FMEA based on the system design in Enterprise Architect.

During the time spent at Knorr-Bremse, the following were performed on the related projects: Functional Safety Engineering:  Participation of the redaction of the functional safety concept (FSC) and technical safety concept (TSC) on the rGSBC project (redundant global scalable braking control), with the focus on Actuators and Sensors (pressure sensor, pressure control valves, Wheel speed sensors) Redaction and analysis of the fault reaction document for rECU for rGSBC

Aim of the mission : -Perform the assessment of the System requirement and Architecture Specification with DOORS and Rhapsoddy tools on Torque and temperature sensors subsystems for ECU on powertrains for new electric vehicles. -Assessment of FTA as well as System FMEA for temperature sensors and Torque modules.

During the time spent at Collins Aerospace the following were performed on the related projects: Space Strategy project, performing of a FMECA on a rotating wheel for Satellites

-Assessment of the PSSA based on PASA of the MCS (Motor Controller System) following the Aerospace safety standards ARP 4754, ARP 4761 and CS-23. -System Specification review (HW buy-off) -Management of internal system specification review team and focal point with SAFRAN System team -Assessment of Board Requirement Specification of the power supply board based on System specification

The mission was to perform Safety Analysis based on the ISO 26262 standard from the Item definition to the generation of Technical Safety Concept including the HARA, ASIL allocation, FTA generation and FSC generation on several chassis control systems (4 Wheel Steering, and Vehicle Motion Control). Objectives: -HARA Analysis based on Item definition -Definition of Safety goals and ASIL identification -Computation of FTA and FSC/TSC (Fault tree Analysis, Functional and technical Safety Concept)

The goal was to develop the expected reliability with OpenAltarica software on radars for military projects (Boats and aircraft) Objectives: -Performing simulations on predictive reliability analysis on a surveillance vessel's radar. -Radar safety studies based on ARP4754 and ARP 4761 (Radar was rate as DAL-B) -Radar modelling with Open Altarica software. -Computation of Reliability and availability of the radar Technical environment: -MS Excel -eXpress, Arbre-Analyse (RAMST Software

Internship in the field of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Cooling) Systems for trains’ application. Objectives and scope of work : -Evaluation of the predictive reliability of air conditioning systems with MS Excel based on reliability guides (MIL-HDBK-217, FIDES). - Development of an application in VBA to evaluate the operational reliability of HVAC systems. Technical environment: -FIDES and MIL-HDBK-217 reliability Handbooks -MS Excel -Visual Basic for Applications
