MS Thesis title was " Constrained Dynamics Approach for Motion Synchronization and Consensus" and it involved developing dynamics and control laws for multiple satellites and robots (rigid bodies) in formation. Control laws were developed to maintain this formation under external forces. Mathematical control laws were developed and numerical simulation in MATLAB was performed to simulate and verify the synchronization, consensus, tracking and stable control under various conditions

Estimation of the Moment of Inertia, center of gravity & verification of the mass of the mini helicopter for the project named” Design & development of the mini autonomous helicopter”, a Government of India funded project at the Department of Aerospace engineering, IIT. The estimation involved use of experimental data of the mini helicopter. Various methods like least square and Newton Raphson was employed and MATLAB was used to calculate the final values.

A broad study of subjects related to astronomy, theoretical and observational astrophysics and cosmology. Sessions on construction and maintenance of “Giravali Telescope”, operation of the telescope through computer. Calculation of distance of far off galaxies using computer programs. Constructed a 2 inch diameter reflector telescope having ramsden eyepiece. The telescope is used for observing celestial objects like moon, constellations, planets and their satellites.

A theoretical study project on “Coherent States”. A Coherent State is the most commonly occurring field state because it mimics a classical field. If uncertainty is not equally distributed, the state is a squeezed coherent state.Its applications were studied to enhance precision measurements in electromagnetic field and achieving quantum noise reduction in phase sensitive detection schemes.
