I worked on Java developement for IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center – coordinated by IBM US and IBM Romania - Very complex application that manages mass storage devices (TBytes) like: ESS, DS4000, DS6000, DS8000, SVC, HDS - Technologies used: Java, Rational Application Developer, CMVC/CVS, DB2 - Key user parts: Subsystem Discovery, Probes, Topology, Performance Monitoring & Data Reports, Alerts - Key architectural parts: GUI, Data Server, Device Server, Data Agent, CIMOM, Fabric Agent

The masters degree, Managementul Informatizat al Proiectelor, provides both theoretical knowledge and hand-on experience through various activities as well as team projects in order to fully grasp all aspects of project management.

The masters degree focuses on Advanced Systems for Internet Applications. It includes Grid Computing and Distributed Systems, Advanced database concepts, Design patterns, Semantic Web, BPEL and more. Received appreciation from teachers for case study projects.

The masters degree is a colaboration between the Politehnica University in Buchaurest and Ecole Polytechnice Lyon. It focuses on knowledge extraction and data mining. The final project I've prepared for graduation was on Text Mining.
