Head of EU Office of German Property Federation, representing 37,000+ companies covering the whole value chain of the German real estate sector. Besides stakeholder management and corporate citizenship, current tasks include Green Deal/Renovation Wave/Energy Efficiency, EPBD,, Financial Services (e. g. Sustainable Finance, Capital Markets Union, SFDR, PRIIPS, MiFID, AIFMD, Basel, Solvency, MiCA), Digitalisation (regulatory landscape for startups, EU Data Act, AI Act, GIA) etc. Set up and extended office.

Versicherungsverträge, jährliche Zahlungen von 17 Mrd. €). Etablierung des bis dato nicht in Brüssel bekannten Verbandes als wichtigen Player des Versicherungs- und Finanzsektors auf EU-Ebene.

Part of high level team to set up and establishing new structure in Brussels for interest representation at EU level on behalf of globally active Swiss financial institutions. The Swiss Finance Council engages in dialogue on policy developments in finance at EU and international level. It provides a platform to share experience and expertise in EU-related matters and was led by a board consisting of the Chairmen of the two founding members and a SFC Chairman (Alexis Lautenberg, Axel Weber, Urs Rohner).

Responsible for representation of the bank‘s interests in Capital Markets, Prudential, Paynebts and other topics in times of extreme regulatory pressure right in and after the financial crisis. Represented the bank in direct cooperation with CEO and board members at EU level, directly and as representative in trade associations like AFNE, ISDA or BdB. Instrumental in expanding the bank’s role as highly respected key FS player and Brussels benchmark for public, governmental and regulatory affairs.

Represented Sun on EU level in direct cooperation with C-level, directly and via trade associations such as Digitaleurope, AeA, AmCham EU etc. Covered environmental (RohS, WEEE, REACH), competition (Microsoft case), trade, digital legislation and advocating for Open Source software, expanded network and role of Sun as key EU and international policy player, incl. managing GeSI engagement and initiating “ICT Sustainability Forum” with European Commission, HP, Intel (HomeOffice solutions as of 2005).

Lawyer and Public Affairs Manager in Panasonic Europe Legal and International Affairs team (PELIA) dealing with EU affairs (incl. for example Unfair Commercial Practices and environmental regulation) and legal matters such as copyright and intellectual property. Represented company bilaterally and in Japanese and EU trade associations such as Digitaleurope (EICTA) or AmCham EU.
