As a joint venture between Aerogen Ltd. and Lyomark Pharma GmbH GenMar Pharma GmbH focusses on the production of a lead compound for both parent companies. With headquarter in Oberhaching (near Munich) and a quality control lab in Hannover my job is to secure the quality of the product establishing a QC laboratory for various standard and non standard analytical methods.

The task is to to set up an "innovations lab" which identifies new analytical trends in the fields of microbiology, molecular biology and chemical testing in the GMP-regulated environment. Prompted by our clients, the regulatory environment or through opportunities identified in house, the division "Innovations" will develop improvements to the existing portfolio and new methods by anticipating future demand. The methods developed will later be transferred to the routine GMP-Labs.
