I joined the business for a term role to build a team of a cross-Sector Architecture, Solutions and Account resources targeting 'Big Ticket' sales and accounts. In this role I transformed their tactical planning approach, resulting in improved understanding of and relationships within key accounts, generating new opportunities due to this adjusted focus to the business context of the customer.

Engaged as part of a major transformation programme to evolve and fine-tune the existing solutions, pre-sales and consulting capability, directly managed a team of 25 Senior technical and architectural resources supporting the £450Mn Enterprise business area. Applying a Solutions view to sell and deliver to the business of the Customer and a collaborative re-engineering of Qualification and Account strategies, delivered plus 25% revenue v. costs and a 40% increase in new business over re-orders.

Created and directed a practice of senior Solutions, Enterprise and technical architects delivering commercially-aware business and technical solutions and transformations. Filled Senior delivery roles building C-level relationships in support of major Accounts. I was the Architect and Designer of the first-ever successful Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) delivered into UK Central Government, delivered on-time and on-budget by a consortium team including offshore partners.

Senior internal Management consultant delivering IT Strategy and Planning to this $20Bn business, my results including: - The development and delivery of their first-ever five year IT Strategic Business Plan - Implementation of controls, effecting a 10% reduction in annual discretionary IT spend - Design and implementation of an Enterprise Architecture - Delivered Ministerial-level review of the State Utilities department, in advance of its privatisation
