A volunteer for Instruction in hygiene and query technology during COVID-19 pandemic

The responsibilities involved the biological sample handling; from the stage of receiving the samples till its storage, while following strict safety measures and good documentation practice.

Assisted in an ongoing project on RNA binding proteins in hypoxia signaling through polynucleotide kinase assay. The techniques like cDNA library prepara-tion, transformation, transfections, bacterial cloning, DNA sequencing and western blotting were used for the project.

Taught science to grade VII & VIII

Assisted in the diagnostic lab as a laboratory assistant. Major responsibilities in-volved microscopy, slides preparation, staining, bacterial culturing and antibiotic resistance profiling

The program was funded by Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and State Department USA. I represented the culture of Pakistan to create bridge between people of Pakistan and USA at various events.
