Postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology.

The core focus of my research was glioblastoma, the most aggressive form of human brain cancer. I looked at how different keystones in its molecular machinery grant distinct profiles that ultimately drive the trajectory of the tumour. The final examination for my doctoral degree is expected in early June.

I worked as a research assistant for cognitive neuroscience projects with the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience and Neural Engineering Group. Mainly using electroencephalography (EEG), I was involved with projects on self-awareness in error processing, cognitive decline in ageing and motor neuron diseases, and cognitive enhancement with non-invasive brain stimulation. I also worked on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies into heroin addiction and cannabis use in the adolescent brain.
