David Gipp

• Responsible for the leadership of all product and quality activities across the operation together with the planning and control of budgets and performance monitoring. Worked closely with the General Manager to set-out the strategic direction of the business encompassing over 220 employees and several key areas including CNC Machining, Fabrication and Rapid Proto-typing. • Also responsible for major projects, notably company-wide implementation of Toyota Lean Manufacturing and Shop Floor Management

• Responsible for the leadership of the Composite Production operation managing a team of up to 120 staff including 80 permanent employees. Directed all aspects of the process from procurement, design release and delivery of finished components. Drove a number of successful initiatives to improve quality, methods, training and lead-time

• Responsible for the strategic direction of the department, leading a team of 65 permanent/temporary staff. In particular, tasked with consistently achieving high levels of quality required in test, on the track and to support R&D. Closely involved in the negotiation of commercial and technical agreements with materials, consumables’ and service providers.
