Defined and implemented Cloud services: REST APIs, business logic, data models and asynchronous interactions with external virtualization and network services. Technology stack: Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, Jersey, JAXB, MySQL, JMS, JMockit, Maven, Linux.

Worked on monitoring solutions for mobile data networks. Designed and developed an append-only, column-oriented database to analyze log files coming from mobile network probes. The database features a Map/Reduce API to process data in parallel and a query analyzer that uses columns metadata to minimize IO. Developed a tool to parse and correlate JSON log files coming from mobile devices. Solved performance issues on a Ruby on Rails analytics server.

Development of back office web applications for banks and financial institutions. Technologies used: ExtJS javascript library, Java Struts2 web framework and Oracle database.

Developed web applications for spatial data management using Java, Oracle Spatial and PostGIS. Designed and developed services used in all web applications: document management, single sign-on authentication, access control lists, batch queue, service cache. Designed and developed a persistence framework implementing the ActiveRecord pattern and using Spring framework to transparently manage services transactions. Designed and developed a web framework with reusable web components.

Developed a geospatial information web site using Java (JSP / Servlets) and ESRI technologies (ArcIMS Web Services). Developed a back office web application with complex data editing workflow, calendar and excel reports.

Developed a supply chain management system composed by Java Swing clients, J2EE servers (Entity Beans, Session Beans and JMS) and Oracle database. Developed a document management system using Java, XML, XSLT, Struts, Hibernate, Lucene, Apache Slide WebDAV server and Oracle database. Introduced a simpler and more effective web application architecture: Struts, Hibernate and Tomcat server instead of J2EE Entity Beans, Session Beans and JBoss server.
