At the Institute for Scientific and Technological Communication and Information in Health (Instituto de Comunicação e Informação Cientifíca e Tecnólogica em Saúde - ICICT), I conducted quantitative research for my master thesis. The research focused on the spatial distribution and social and environmental determinants of dengue and zika in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro.

Assisting the director of the Asia department with several activities such as market research, drafting mails and news letters, preparing documents and Powerpoint presentations, all in the field of life sciences, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and clinical trials. Working language was in Mandarin Chinese and English.

At the Center for Health Policy Studies (浙江大学医学部卫生政策学研穷中心), I conducted qualitative research for my bachelor thesis. Interviews have been carried out with village doctors in the rural area of Lanxi in Zhejiang province. The research was about the challenges of population ageing on human resources for health with the focus on barefoot/village doctors in rural China.
