I was responsible for helping to increase sales and sales support staff productivity through the optimisation of processes and to incentivise salesperson performance in line with the company's strategic objectives through adjustments to the company's sales compensation plans. I was also responsible for producing critical KPI reports on sales performance, the setting of multi-million pound revenue targets for all of i2i's events, and the setting of individual monthly sales targets for all sales staff.

In my final one-and-a-half years at Equinix, I was responsible for the delivery of all system and process changes for the European Sales Operations department, which included the management of individual projects and the management of two full-time staff. This was following a six month maternity leave cover as Sales Operations Manager, where I was responsible for ensuring the smooth running, execution and delivery of all European Sales Operation functions.

My first position at Equinix was as a Marketing Analyst where I was responsible for the delivery of the weekly sales forecast and other sales/marketing performance reports to senior management. I was also responsible for system administration of all sales applications. I then became Sales Operations Analyst which had more emphasis on reporting and data, as well as the design, implementation and training of sales operations processes. I also did the commission calculations for the UK sales force.

I also assisted with the formulation of commission plans, which were often used to steer the sales force in line with the company's strategic direction.
