As a teaching assistant at the Neuroinformatics Lab at the University of Osnabrueck I was responsible for the practical training units of the lecture "Neurodynamics", held by Professor Gordon Pipa. Next to holding recap session of the lecture topic, I constructed the bi-weekly homework sheets and the final exam. Additionally, I wrote a small Python3 module, in which students were able to visualize dynamics of different computational neuron models.

Using clustering algorithms and machine learning architectures, I compared different ion channel models, written in the simulation language NEURON. The goal of this project was to find a universal "super" model, which could then be used as a standardized way of defining such models, enabling simpler means for comparing and analyzing.

Implementation of a multi delay-coupled reservoir on a FPGA using IBM's "Capi Snap" framework using novel methods for appliance on multi-dimensional Input. Furthermore, I dealt with means of analyzing complex dynamical systems, enabling a better parameter tuning, which is crucial for such reservoir computing architectures

Under the supervision of Professor Gordon Pipa I worked on: - creating a sophisticated chat bot for a flu prediction website - working in a study group with graduate students on setting up a Pepper robot as a teaching assistant, covering a variety of aspects, such as creating a website as a interface for communication, working on human computer interaction and an automated answering system for student questions

Teaching a crash course on basic foundations of mathematics for approximately 25 freshmen.

Studies in the Cognitive Science Bachelor Program cover multiple aspects of cognition, such as perception, attention, memory, learning, problem solving reasoning, emotions, and language.
