Promoted to Head of IPTV Services reporting on a daily basis to management (CEO-level); responsible for systems architecture and interactions between the technical teams and company management. Assisted management as pre-sales technical expert, leading successful deployments of over-the-top TV products for two relevant German operators. Managed a local technical team of three; coordinated distributed development of two teams in Serbia and Spain, by using an Agile methodology (Scrum).

Supervised the operation of an IPTV FTTH solution on the Swiss market, advising the network and development teams as contact point between Swiss, Spanish and North American groups. Acted as product, QA and service manager of the IPTV middleware in production, completing several release cycles, including an internal DVB-based Head-end and backend services.

Designed and implemented core functionality for a Java-based, three-tiered IPTV middleware (authentication and encryption, object caching, i18n). Developed several templates for the web presentation layer of the middleware, that allowed to deploy the same backend for multiple customers with minimal configuration effort.

Performed requirements analysis, market research and deployment of an open-source electronic agenda used by a medical team to track patients' appointments.
