Diego Satián

Member of the Institutional UNCLOS division. Aim of the division is to extent the ecuadorian continental shelf beyond the 200N according to the Art. 76. Main tasks developed: surveying and establishment of national maritime boundaries with the use of GNSS and drone technology, processing of geospatial information, generation of cartography and technical reports.

Member of the Public Works Department. Main tasks developed: topographic surveys for the development of public infrastructure and urban planning projects. Creation and management of the Municipal geodatabase. Generation of official cartography for the Municipality.

Member of the Geomatics and Remote Sensing Laboratory, during the execution of the augmented and virtual reality research project. Main tasks developed: elaboration of the project proposal, establishment of finantial requirements, methods and instruments to reach the aim of the research project. Research of the state-of-art in topics related to augmented and virtual reality.

Member of the consulting staff during the National Irrigation and Drain Project. Main tasks developed: reception and coordination of geospatial information collected in field, cataloging of geosatial information, structuring geodatabases for the project, designing and generation of official cartography for the project.

Bachellor’s program focused on geodesy, remote sensing, photogrammetry and geoinformatics.
