Playing a pivotal role as a founding member of the Inverso team and leading on the development of data management system, 2D plotting, optimisation and stability/strength calculation frameworks Developing Loading Calculator Software inLoad, receiving general approval from Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai, with subsequent installation onboard various ships ranging from cement carriers to VLOCs

Conducting detailed structural assessments of ship structures and completing feasibility studies and SDAs for single to double hull conversions, crane installations and mooring equipment Completing vibration analysis of ship structures and on-board measurements and producing P&A and VECS manuals Providing expert consultation on the assessment of JTP rules to the Greek Ship-Owners’ Association

Conducting post-doctoral research on proper orthogonal decompositions with basic and applied research on marine structures under extreme/dynamic loads using finite element simulations Preparing and delivering lectures on ship strength to undergraduate students in the department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Additionally responsible for developing on-line courses on MSC.Patran for both new and experienced users
