Ing. Edgar Andres Bonilla Grajales

I’m currently contributing to the development, maintenance and upgrading of the mobile and web apps of a start-up from Cupertino, CA; on both front-end and back-end sides. I have direct communication with the start-up’s founder and I also take part as a tech advisor in the decision making. I'm also supervising another mobile app project from an Argentinian start-up having the role of a tech advisor and code reviewer.

As co-founder, I take part on Business Development and I also work on: Mobile App development for Android and iOS with React Native, Web development with React and Back-end development with Node.js, MongoDB, Firebase and Google Cloud Platform. We were part of the Apps.co (https://www.apps.co/) incubator.

I was part of the core team of React Native devs of the company, and the Tech Leader of two of the projects we developed for clients in the USA. I also represented the project's dev team on meetings with the clients and their technical teams. My main responsibilities were to take part in the main architectural and technical decisions, to execute the main tech requirements of the projects, to do pair programming with my teammates and contribute on the review of the Pull Requests made by the team.

I contributed to the development of three web apps and one mobile app that are now launched in production for the company's clients. I also set standards for the company's coding guidelines and best practices on code writing for web applications with React and mobile apps with React Native.

I worked on a Start-Up initiative called Ever-in, which was based on a mobile app, and I also did freelance works during this period.

Intern by Test Systems Technology & Platforms, Supply Chain - Engineering - Hardware integration and software development of an automated test system based on NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand.

I did an Exchange Semester as a DAAD scholarship holder and the main topics i worked on were: - Psychoacoustics - Sound Design - Intelligent Systems

My engineering thesis project was undertaken under the "Company Creation" modality. We were, along with my thesis partner, awarded with a "meritorio" honor (equivalent to 'magna cum laude').
