I am a Research Assistant and PhD student, part of IT4BI-DC program. I work at TU Dresden, Faculty of Computer Science, Database Systems Group. My research aims at techniques that enable automatic analysis and processing of partially-structured documents. Throughout this work, I have utilized machine learning, evolutionary algorithms, descriptive statistics, graph models, and optimization techniques. Main Responsibilities: Developing a web portal with interactive dashboards, specialized for KPI monitoring in retail industry. Noteworthy is that customers’ receipts were combined with their traces (movements) in store. Implementation of an interactive map, showcasing the mountain pastures of Trentino-Alto Adige. This was used in a local exhibition. Technologies/Programming: Highcharts, Drupal, PHP, JavaScript, Python

This internship was part of my Master studies in University of Trento. Main Responsibilities: -- A thorough statistical analysis on a sample dataset of customer movements (traces) in retail stores (https://retailerin.com/) -- Implementing and testing new KPIs for capturing/describing additional aspects of customer behavior in retail stores. Technologies/Programming: Python, Jupyter Notebook

-Installation and configuration of a Case Management system (IBM FileNet P8, IBM DB2), for a governmental institution. -Implementation of an end-to-end reporting and analysis system, for a telecommunication company. This included ETL processes (IBM DataStage), a data warehouse (Oracle DB), and a reporting suite (MicroStrategy BI). -Preparation of demos and presentations. -Writing technical reports and user manuals. Technologies: FileNet, DB2, DataStage, Oracle DB, MicroStrategy, Microsoft Office.
