I joined the company as an engineer to help modernize the client’s legacy systems and later stepped into a team lead role to improve how we worked as a team. Over time, I realized I couldn’t make the level of impact I thought was needed. So I decided to step away and look for a setup that aligns better with how I work — hands-on, practical, and engineering-focused.

Worked for a Swedish consulting company (Sarajevo office, Swedish market). The company was in an early stage when I joined, so my role covered both technical and non-technical responsibilities. I worked on and led multiple software projects, and also took part in the recruitment process — preparing technical tasks for candidates, reviewing their solutions, and participating in interviews. I also handled operational and coordination tasks when needed.

Worked for an international startup with headquarters in Seoul. I participated in the development of the mobile application for their main product and led the mobile development team.

Worked as a part-time freelancer and helped develop a web-based reporting dashboard for the client.

Worked for a US consulting company in the Sarajevo office. For four years I was assigned to Vertafore, a major provider of insurance software for carriers, agencies, MGAs, and independent agents. I worked on their NextGen Rating product and was part of several teams and solution areas during that time.

As a consultant employed by CompuSight, I worked on the client’s NextGen Rating product, contributing across several teams and solution areas.

Worked as a freelancer for a few local and international companies and also developed several of my own products.

As a contract-based assignment, I worked with a client and helped their development team modernize the core business system.

Worked for a regional company and was responsible for implementing and customizing an existing Farm Register product for the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina — from development to end-user training.

Worked for a local consulting company serving the Dutch market, contributing to several software solutions for Acision — a provider of messaging systems.

Worked for a European company with an office in Sarajevo, which had a portfolio of digital solutions in the telecommunications sector. I worked as a junior software engineer on several projects.
