Technical Services Manager of Akers AB Istanbul Office. Responsible areas: Turkey, Iran, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

In 2009 Åkers opened an office in Turkey. Technical Service Engineer is responsible for technical support to customer and solving problems at site. Using non-destructive methods (Ultrasonic Test, Dye Penetrant Test and Magnetic Particle Test) for technical investigation of rolling mill rolls and reporting to related plants are the part of my jobs doing weekly basis. Turkey, Iran, Ukraine and Kazakhstan are countries which I’m responsible for.

At the beginning of the 2007, two people were chosen for the Engineering Department in our company, Me and one of my colleague. In this department We're responsible for the new parts. Preparing reports (N.J.S.U. & P.P.A.P. etc.), developing processes (P-FMEA, SPC, CAD for Casting & Simulation etc.), destructive examinations (to obtain customer specs), non-destructive examinations (ultrasonic, dye penetrant and magnetic particle test) are the jobs that we do in routine.

Laboratory Director manages Metallurgy Laboratory which has 6 laboratory assistant and works 3 shift per day. Some of the exams are; spectral analysis, Nitrogen-Oxygen analysis, casting sand laboratory, tensile-yield and impact strength determination, hardness check, microstructure analysis etc. Laboratory Director reports to Quality Assurance Manager.

Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for quality of products(continuous improvement and development) and managing of quality assurance staff(appr. 40 person). Updating Quality Assurance System, performing preventative and corrective actions, preparing and checking of certificates, performing statistical process control etc. according to ISO 9001 requirements. Quality Assurance Engineer reports to Quality Assurance Manager.
