Researching about Evolutionary Robotics in the context of developing behaviors for manipulators.

Activities: • Refactor software to localize sounds using microphone arrangements. • Design of microphone arrangement using the quality of beamforming as design cri- teria. • Implementation of version control for software development.

• Design of automatic tests to evaluate the software of Volvo truck’s clusters. • Design of manual tests to evaluate the hardware of Volvo truck’s clusters.

• Mechanical design of gauges and fixtures for wires and pipes for the automotive industry. • Development of gauges using 3D printed materials.

• Development of a data transmission system between a mobile robot and a PC using Matlab Simulink. • Measure robot’s velocity using laser wheel encoders.

• Repair and maintenance of commercial drones (Walkera, DJI, and Hubsan). • Design of a 3D printed drone to material resistance and aerodynamics. • Customer support.

• Focus on integrating the necessary intelligence behind autonomous behaviors of agents. • R&D project: ”Tell your robot what to do: Evaluation of natural language models for robot command processing.” • Active member of B-it-bots Robocup@home team. • Grade: 1.52

Exchange semester

• General overview of the areas of automation, embedded systems, computer networks, and mechanical design. • Final project: Development of a VTOL drone using Pixhawk flight controller.
