- Medical brain of the company. - Member of the management team. - Global project manager for clinical trials. - Focusing on building relationships with Principal Investigators (KOLs). - Focusing on finding, evaluating, negotiating and building partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, and CROs. - Participation in the development and execution of clinical trials globally. - Participation in national and international medical meetings.

• Member of the management team. • Participation in multidisciplinary manager meetings (Clinicals, Development, Science, Marketing, Hardware, Software). • Set the long-term strategy and direction for the assigned areas of responsibility. • Involved in product launches for new features in the pacemaker. • Building relationships with Principal Investigators (KOLs). • Line manager; manage the departmental budget, employees (10 FTE), be the link between senior management and the R&T employees.

Direct all day-to-day clinical research activities of the departments of cardio-thoracic surgery and cardiology. • Primary contact for all internal and external research partners. • Acquisition of new projects and/or funding. • Perform contract negotiations with research partners. • Direct and supervise Medical Ethical Committee procedures of projects. • Manage the departmental budget (10 FTE), receipts and expenditures. • Represent Cardio Research AZM towards the Board of Directors of AZM.
