Strategy in my role is to develop a purpose within a bigger picture of a very unique deep tech: establishing the first Operating System for Intelligent Video (vOS); the iOS for video. vOS is set to improve competitiveness and automation based on the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence across industries. Being successful in this role is to master the obstacles along the journey towards the ultimate goal of mainstream market at scale together with our partners and stakeholders.

In this role I'm driving the innovation activities within the Dubai Aviation which begins with the development of future scenarios and implementation of an ambitious innovation strategy to ensure the competitiveness of the existing Dubai International Airport (DXB) and the future Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). In the greater context of Dubai I'm representing the Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) within Dubai's "10X" initiative to introduce new concepts for airborne traffic and space travel.

Operating at a strategic planning and programme management level, I exercise overall accountability for the development and execution of the business and industrial development strategy for Takamul – the UAE’s national Intellectual Property and Commercialization support program. I play a major role in the negotiation and finalisation of agreements and contracts with external (and International) partners in the areas of IP Asset Generation, IP Management, Proof of Concept and Commercialization Dealflow.

Playing a direct role in the development and growth of this technology advocacy organisation, I provided strategic leadership and oversight in the development of the association’s overall business strategy and performance targets, including developing the new business development and partner acquisition strategy for industry and academia. I served as the key point of contact for external partners and stakeholders, negotiating and finalising business deals and strategic alliances.

Overall P/L accountability for emerging-market ASIC accounts in the APAC region, developing new business and growing current accounts, as well as the development of the annual operations strategy and budget and global responsibility for the planning and execution of NPI’s. A recognised expert in the technical and quality aspects of the role, I also served as the key point of contact for global relationship management with key suppliers, negotiating and monitoring performance within supply contracts.
