I coordinated all aspects of the day to day operations of Frontier College (a national non profit literacy organization) in Calgary. This included; volunteer recruitment, volunteer training and management and volunteer recognition. I interviewed and screened approximately 40 volunteers and then matched their skills, qualifications and interests with learners. I created training manuals for Volunteers and for Organizational Team members in Calgary and spent a considerable amount of time rebuilding community

As a Youth Ambassador my job was to guide Grade 9-12 students through an interactive CD-ROM, designed to help students plan for their post secondary education and share my own post-secondary education experiences, answer questions about how to plan for post-secondary studies, and direct students to the right resources. I would do half day and full day workshops with groups of student and adults. The Learning Clicks CD-ROM together with the Youth Ambassador program provided students with a new understanding
