Dr. Fabio Mancinelli

I've been in charge of managing multi-partners Research Projects at XWiki SAS. This include writing and coordinating project proposals, coordinating project execution (internally and externally) and also participating to the actual development of the software artifacts.

I have been contributing to the XWiki Open Source Project in different subsystems. In particular I wrote the initial implementation of the XWiki RESTful API of XWiki and XEclipse, an Eclipse integrated environment for interacting with the XWiki system. I also contributed some extensions to the XWiki platform.

Post doctorate on RESTful architectures and ambient computing.

I contributed to the development of XEclipse, an Eclipse-based environment for interacting with the XWiki platform.

I contributed to some ongoing collaborative research projects, namely the Nepomuk project, developing a semantic desktop infrastructure under the Eclipse platform.

I worked on resource aware adaptation of Java programs targeted to mobile devices. This work aimed at providing techniques for writing adaptable programs, for adapting them wrt the target environment and for verifying the correctness of the adaptation.
