• Design development • Design validation • Manufacture Thanks to previous experiences as well as having access to machinery such as laser cut, water jet and 3D impression it was possible to design and manufacture complex components for the prototype. An improvement was made on the brake systems of the vehicle. Additionally the fuel tank, fuel line and cooling systems components were also designed focusing on the performance as well as the overall packaging of the vehicle.

• Design development • Manufacture • Business Case development and Presentation • Development of relationship between the Team and local companies • Training of new members Developed a method to predict the amount of stress that the brake discs will have to cope with during the competition and simulated that on a CAD software. Utilized Solidworks, Matlab and the Excel software in conjunction to generate what became my final year project.

• CAD design and simulation Utilizing the Solidworks software a CAD file of the vehicle that was being developed on the institute was created. The final model was then exported to be used on a vehicle dynamics software as well as to be used to design the sensors of the vehicle.

CFD applied on a Formula SAE to analyse the front wing design, Automotive design, Mechanical design, Ansys Fluent, Solidworks.
