"Debottleneck Ethylbenzene/Styrene Revamp Project" -Perform preliminary hydraulic calculations to check sizes of existing pipe lines, control valves, pumps and heat exchangers -Edit and use Process Simulator program to add and extract fluid property data -Use vendor design programs to rate current distillation tower internals and suggest modifications for tower trays if needed -Update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) to match simulation output -Update P&IDs based on flow scheme shown on the PFDs

“Design of filtration unit to optimize operation of ion exchange column for chlorine alkali process” -Designed and executed laboratory scale experiments -Worked to improve filtration and ion exchange unit in a pilot plant (scale up) -Calculated fluid dynamic parameters and evaluated economic feasibility for production plant -Determined impurities in brine (TOC, metal ions) in laboratory -Monitored process parameters using Aspen Process Explorer and implemented corrective actions when necessary
