Managing the continuous improvement of the quality system and processes by liaising with customers, suppliers and production staff, handling and investigating customer complaints and resolving issues, participating in internal and external audits, assisting in closing audit non conformance's, driving GMP, verifying daily production records, training staff in relation to quality and GMP procedures, maintaining and developing products specification to comply with regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system accordingly to the ISO9001 standards such as evidencing the continuous improvement, recommending corrective actions, staff training, monitoring internal and external ISO audits, promoting awareness of customer requirements as well as identifying statutory and regulatory requirements amongst staff, liaising with Team Leaders, Operations Manager and the Company Management on major quality issues and First Aid Officer.

Preparation and maintenance of all quality controlled documents and databases to ensure currency and compliance to the quality management system, business needs, customer’s needs and applicable standards and requirements, harmonisation of the quality documents from three different compounding centres, serving as a quality interface to other departments, preparation of response letters to customer complaints and support to the Quality Manager with various quality tasks.

Implementation, maintenance and improvement of the quality management system (QMS) and food safety management system (FSMSM) as per ISO9001 & ISO22000 standards, First Aid Officer, reviewing and updating the company’s website, HR policies, procedures manual and workplace relation requirements, assisting with stock take and assisting CEO and CFO with special projects, and schedules.

Chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-line products and finished products, product weight control, antibiotic testing, laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration, entering quality related results and data in SAP, completing all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with SOP’s and ensure that test results and/or any quality issue are communicated to internal and external customers.

Implementation of the quality management system (QMS) and food safety management system (FSMS).

Implementation of the quality management system of raw materials such as the conditions of transport and storage, internal and external laboratory testing, Certificates of Analysis, recommending and implementing corrective actions, direct contact with the raw materials suppliers, internal GMP and 5S audits, staff training and ensure that procedures relating to GMP, HACCP, OH&S and Food Safety Standards are met within the factory of the site operations.
