Overall responsibility IT (Backoffice & Solutions): Development, Quality Assurance and Operations

Accountable for the operational performance of all global division specific applications in a cloud computing environment for EnPro Industries companies GGBearing.com and c-p-i.com. Responsible for an integrated technology strategy and budget for ERP, CRM, Manufacturing, Resource Planning, Business Intelligence and local Financial Systems as well as other relevant applications. Global IT Departments in USA, Canada, Brazil, Europe and China.

As director of the whole software engineering (PM, Quality, Architecture, Operations and Support) department I’m responsible for the development of every software based product at WEKA Media. The range spans from system based software, web solutions across development platforms to huge online portals.

My team was responsible for developing individual software products in the sector of management and production. As team leader I had full line responsibility for 3-5 team members. My main duty was to improve existing engineering processes and to stabilise the adherence to delivery dates. Therefore I made use of standard online project management and engineering tools.

In my ending position as Senior Software Engineer I'm responsible for the technical lead of (Junior) Software Engineers. I conduct the technical part of job interviews and aptitude tests. For new employees I do the technical training and mentoring. In the field of engineering I'm designing architecture of new modules and create/discuss new product ideas with CEO, product manager and customers. Beyond that implementation work is focused on realising frameworks and class structures or integrating packages.

I worked at Consors as a student trainee during semesters as well as during semester breaks. From September 2000 to May 2003 I was employed in the Front-end Architecture „FA“ section. The core responsibility of this section is to develop web views.

From March 1999 to May 2003 I worked at Siemens in the section of Software Engineering and customer support, called „SEK“. Main part of my work was for the Web Application Service Provider project. That includes: - Design and architecture of web portals - Developing various number of J2EE Servlets and PHP test views - Developing a data transfer interface between UNIX and NT

I did a five month internship in the IT section from May to September 1998: -One task was to create a recording system to collect hardware and software components (realized in ACCESS). - Assembling of hardware components - Installation of Novell-Clients and NT operational systems

Development of a mobile diagnostic system to debug electronic vehicle control units in the automotive industry. Including a comprehensive on-site process documentation, analysis and creating of improvement scenarios (ARIS). Embedded Software Engineering for Windows Mobile, Eclipse RCP and DMS.
